Talamh Óg is an emerging group of young farmers, landworkers, environmentalists, and eaters working to build a just and sustainable agri-food system. We are committed to food sovereignty, or the right to food that is healthy, local, sustainable, and democratically produced. Decent work for farmers and decent food for all!

At the winter school, we’ll explore alternative pathways for young people in Irish food and farming. How can we, as a growing movement, build a food system that places power back in the hands of people and our communities? We’ll explore these questions through member-led workshops, get to know each other over a shared lunch, and end our day with a seed swap!

Time: 10:00-16:00 on Sunday, 23 Nov. Optional pints afterwards.
Location: Mullingar Arts Centre
Access: train (10 min to station), bus (5 min to Castle St), or parking for €3 daily
