Welcome to Talamh Beo

Living Land

Land Access, Land Use and Generational Renewal

Action Group Reactivation!

Join Us to reactivate this group!  On the 24th of August at 8pm we will meet online to review Talamh Beo’s position paper on Land in Ireland and discuss how the group can take action, organise and grow its work on land issues here!

If you’re interested in joining this group and getting further emails on the Land issue, just email: Daniel@talamhbeo.ie

Talamh Beo means Living Land – and when we speak of the living land we are not just talking about the living soil under our feet, but also our landscapes, our communities and our farms and their ecosystems.

Land & Hands Noticeboard

Our new Land & Hands noticeboard is a public space to share opportunities that align with the principles of our organisation (ie. community, agroecology, local food).  Visit the noticeboard.

The Living Land working group within Talamh Beo is a space for people to gather, learn and act to improve the conditions for land access and work in Ireland.  Working from an agrarian and landwork informed perspective we can effectively support each other in developing robust, grassroots communities that can act in the best interests of their regions in regard to generational renewal, food sovereignty, biodiversity protection – through the lens of land and its access.

Our reach and proven following is important to lend weight to our voice in discussions regarding Ireland’s agriculture and food policies. If you want to add your voice to our discussions and policy making, or support us in a more practical way which will allow us to continue our work, we would ask that you consider becoming a member of Talamh Beo and making a small financial contribution to our efforts.
