These gatherings need you. Walk a field, share a story, ask a question, or just listen. No membership required. No knowledge of agroecology needed. Just curiosity.
Gatherings can be anything from a farm walk to a seed swap, a hedge school discussion to a shared meal. What matters is people coming together around food and land.

Hosting sounds big. It’s not. It just means opening a door to your farm, your garden, your kitchen, or a local hall, and welcoming a few people in. No talks. No expertise. A cuppa and a chat is enough. Two people and a good conversation is a real success.
You don’t need to be a farmer. You don’t need land. You just need a bit of space and a willingness to bring people together. We’ll support you with a simple one-page guide, a connection to someone who’s done it before, and a real person you can call if you get stuck.
Yes.
You don’t need to be an expert. You just need a bit of space and the willingness to say “you’re welcome here.”
Put the kettle on. Welcome people. Let the conversation happen. Thank them for coming.

You won’t be alone, we’ll be there to support you.
A Talamh Beo gathering is a space where people come together around food, land, and community. Everyone in the room has something to offer, and everyone is welcome.
Our gatherings are shaped by five principles:
If it feels welcoming, practical, and rooted in the land, it’s already a Talamh Beo gathering.
Here are six formats Talamh Beo members said they’d love to see. Each one is simple to host and easy to take part in. Pick one that feels natural to you.

This checklist covers the small things that make people feel welcome and comfortable. It’s simple, practical, and shaped by hosts who’ve done it before.
You won’t be on your own.
We can share your gathering with members nearby, offer a resources (we call them toolbox for hosts), connect you with someone who’s done it before, and answer questions along the way.
We’re a small team, so we might not be able to be there on the day. But hosting is yours, and we’ll help you feel ready for it.
Register as a host and we’ll take it from there. Give us up to two weeks to come back to you, then we’ll sort the next steps together.
