This Saturday (26th March) Dr Aga presented on Talamh Beo’s Soil Biodiversity EIP at a ‘Let’s Talk Farming’ event at the Organic Centre in Leitrim. 
Her important message to those attending is that creating healthy soils is critical to food security. 
Food security is a topic on everyone’s mind these days. We find ourselves in the perfect storm of disruptions to long supply chains, the high costs and limited availability of chemical fertiliser and grains for feeding livestock and the effects of Brexit, Covid and the war in Ukraine.
